This policy explains what Vouch Technologies Private Limited (“Vouch’D”, “we”) collects when you use Vouch’D, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address, phone number and password, or the details Google or LinkedIn share when you sign in with them (name, email and photo).
• Profile details: headline, location, education, work history, projects, certifications, links and your resume, if you add them.
• Verification: for candidates, that your phone number was confirmed; for referrers, your work email domain and that it was confirmed. We do not keep the one-time codes and we never ask for Aadhaar.
• Activity: requests, chats, referral outcomes and confirmations, credits and leaderboard standing.
• Payments: plan, billing dates and invoices. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay; we do not store them.

How we use it

• To verify you, run your account and match candidates with referrers.
• To keep you hidden from people at your current employer and any companies you add.
• To show Elio’s role matches and candidate summaries to Premium members.
• To prevent fraud, enforce our terms and handle disputes.
• To send service emails. We send marketing only if you opt in.

Who sees what

Referrers see your profile under an anonymous handle, such as Quiet-Falcon-29, until a chat opens between you. Your phone number is never shown to other members. We share data with service providers that host, secure, email and bill for Vouch’D, under contract. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your profile within 30 days, and keep only the records we must hold by law, such as invoices.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent, from Profile › Settings or by writing to us. You can also raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer at support@getvouchd.in. We reply within 30 days.

These terms apply when you use Vouch’D. By creating an account you agree to them.

Who can use Vouch’D

You must be 18 or older and live in India. Referrers must be current employees who can refer through their employer’s own referral system.

How referrals work

• A candidate sends a request to a verified referrer. Requests expire after 72 hours without a reply, and a candidate can send one follow-up after 48 hours.
• If the referrer accepts, a chat opens. Chats close after 14 days without messages.
• The referrer refers the candidate through their company’s own system and marks the referral as made. The candidate confirms it within 14 days.
• A referral does not guarantee an interview or a job. Hiring decisions stay with the employer.

Credits and Premium

• Free members get 5 referral requests a month. They reset on the 1st and do not roll over.
• Each referral confirmed by both sides earns the referrer 3 request credits. Earned credits never expire.
• Vouch’D Premium costs ₹279 a month, including GST, and renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Profile › Billing; Premium stays active until the end of the paid month.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay.

Conduct

• Never ask for or offer money for a referral.
• Use your real identity and only refer people you are willing to refer.
• No harassment, spam or fake profiles.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Leaderboard

Each month the members with the most referrals confirmed by both sides are featured. The top 3 receive a badge and a featured spot on their profile. There are no cash prizes. We may remove referrals that turn out to be false.

Liability and governing law

Vouch’D is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction.

When you verify your account, you agree that Vouch’D may process the following, only for the purposes listed.

• Candidates: your phone number, to send a one-time code and confirm it is yours.
• Referrers: your work email, to send a one-time code and confirm you work at that company. We keep the company domain to show you as a verified employee and to hide candidates from their own employer.
• Disputes: if a candidate says they were not referred, we may ask the referrer for the referral email with personal details blacked out. We delete it once the dispute is resolved.
• Elio (Premium): your profile, to match you with roles from company career pages and approved job boards, or to summarise candidates for referrers.

You can withdraw consent at any time from Profile › Settings. Some features stop working without verification.

Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep Vouch’D secure; they are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies are off unless you turn them on here or choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner.
